A person has died in a khukuri attack in Khotang. The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Dilliraj Rai of Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality-2 Khartamchha. 36-year-old local Shuvaraj Rai attacked Dilliraj and his wife 62-year-old Samamaya Rai with khukuri on Sunday morning. Both of them sustained serious injury in the attack. Dilliraj died while preparations were being made to bring him to Kathmandu. Police have arrested the assailant and are further investigating.
