A man has been found dead in Taukhel, Godawari municipality of Lalitpur, south of Kathmandu, on Wednesday morning. Police have suspected that he was murdered.
The deceased has been identified as Amit Shahi, 25. His body was found at around 2 am today.
The chief of the Lalitpur Metropolitan Police Range, Tek Prasad Rait, says a team has been mobilised to investigate the case.
The investigators have suspected murder preliminarily as a sharp weapon used in cutting meat was found near his body, according to SP Tul Bahadur Karki, who visited the incident site this morning. The victim has injuries on his neck and a hand.
Police are looking for the culprits.
