Khotang, Nepali senadwara vishfotak padarth nishkriya. A bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army's Jabarjung Battalion Mude has defused the explosives on March 15. The explosive device was found in the area in Diktel VDC-2 where the APF camp had been stationed. The device was found by the local girls, Puja and Sabita Bishwakarma, both aged 8 who informed their parents about it. The parents informed the police leading to a notice to the army. A team led by Captain Gyan Bahadur Rai defused the device. He said that the device was plastic hand grenade. Inspector Ramesh Kumar Thebe said the device could have been left behind during the conflict. The locals say there might be more such devices as similar devices had been found in the area earlier.
