A complaint has been lodged against the Chief Administrative Officer of Mahadeva Rural Municipality of Saptari for being involved in a beating.
Ram Sharan Yadav of Mahadeva-1, Pakari has lodged a complaint against 42-year-old Ram Lakhan Yadav, at the District Police Office on Thursday saying Chief Administrative Officer Yadav and his brothers attacked 34-year-old Kali Charan and his sister-in-law Adhuliya Devi with a home-made weapon including a bamboo stick on Sunday while having a dispute regarding land.
The injured Kalicharan has been admitted to Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar for treatment after he was referred from Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital. According to his wife Ram Sundar Devi, he is undergoing treatment in Biratnagar.
Adhuliya Devi Yadav, a sister-in-law of Kalicharan, who was injured while trying to save Kalicharan, has been treated at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
