Police arrested 30-year-old Ramesh Pakhrin of Shivpuri Rural Municipality, Ward-5, and 36-year-old Bhupesh Ghale of Likhu Rural Municipality, Ward-1 on August 8, on the charge of raping a 37-year-old woman in her house on the night of March 15. The duo also robbed money and gold from the victim.

The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused on March 17.

Two absconding accused were arrested from Budhanilkantha Municipality Ward-8 and have been remanded to custody.
