Tipper driver arrested for abusing police under influence

Police arrested 50-year-old Deepak Timilsina of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward-24 on August 10 on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and abusing police personnel.
Timilsina, who was driving a tipper heading towards Dhading from Kathmandu was found drunk driving during an inspection by police deployed at Nagdhunga, Chandragiri Municipality Ward-2.
According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, further investigation is underway as per the Criminal Code Act, 2017.
