Police have arrested 27-year-old Udas, a resident of Chandragiri Municipality-6, an accused of attempted murder on the run. Police deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle Thankot arrested Udas from Matatirthachowk of Chandragiri Municipality-8 on Wednesday. Udas and 28-year-old Amrit Kumar Baidhya of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3 Sindhuli had attacked Bishnu Bahadur Shrestha a taxi driver from Chandragiri Municipality-15 on March 15. Shrestha was critically injured after being hit with bricks and stones in the attack. Police arrested Baidhya immediately but Udas absconded. According to police Udas was presented in front of the Kathmandu District Court for necessary actions.
