A 17-year-old girl was gang-raped by three youths on a bus bearing plate number Ba 3 Kha 2612 in Bhaktapur Municipality-8, Kalaachaa. Police arrested 22-year-old Nirkumar Khadka of Sangachokgadhi-10 in Sindhupalchowk and Surya Shrestha of Jugal Rural Municipality-4. Another accused involved in the rape is absconding.  

The accused involved in the incident are the staff of the vehicle who took the victim from Ratna Park to Bhaktapur and raped her. The girl has told the police that she is raped by giving viscous medicine. The girl, who is raped in between 4 to 5 pm on Saturday, escaped and reached the police.
