Workers mobilized by Sino Hydro under the Tanahu Hydropower Project have been agitated again accusing the management of making even labourers who have tested positive for Corona work instead of keeping them in isolation. They also alleged that the previous agreement to keep the workers in quarantine for seven days after the PCR test was violated. 

Even when the Nepali workers went home on Dashain holiday, the Chinese workers continued the construction work of the powerhouse. In the last week of September, the workers had agitated demanding PCR testing of all the workers. The work was started after the construction company tested the PCR of all the workers.
