Rabin Gurung, 18, of Chandibhanjyang9 died in police beating at Panchkilo of the same VDC on February 19 night, Gurung's family members have claimed.

One of the locals Min Bahadur Gurung said Gurung was seriously injured when the police beat him following a verbal dispute. Gurung along with some 20 other children were extorting money from the vehicles citing Shivaratri festival on February 20 when a police team returning from the patrol tried to dispersed them.

Guurng had died on the way to Bharatpur Hospital .

SP Bhupal Kumar Bhandari said police were collecting information regarding the incident.
