Chitwan/June 1 Dibesh Piya, 20, of Bharatpur Municipality-3 has filed a complaint against his father Dinesh, mother Karuna and five others at District Police Office on June 1 accusing them of caste-based discrimination. Piya said that he was expelled from home for marrying a so-called dalit woman. He said that the family members first tried to separate him and his wife and when they could not succeed, the forced him out of the home. He had got married to Sanskriti Ghimire Bishwakarma of Bharatpur Municipality-3 on May 16 saying he was forced to rent the room out of the home because of the family members' discrimination. He filed the police complaint after the locals' attempt on reconciliation between parents and the new couple could not be realized.
