Man arrested on charge of murdering his wife in Panchthar

31-year-old Dhan Bahadur Uvarkoti of Hilihang Rural Municipality-5, Subhang of Panchthar has killed his 30-year-old wife Durgamaya by striking her with an axe.
Chief of the District Police Office, Panchthar, DSP Dan Bahadur Thapa said that Durgamaya's body was found in her house.
According to the locals, the incident took place at around 1 am last night.
Police reached the spot at 3 in the morning after a neighbor reported the incident.
Dhan Bahadur involved in the incident is absconding and search is on, said Pranau Thapa. The incident is under investigation, police said.
