Mahottari/June 11 Police have registered a case against Pahuniya Devi Hujedar, 40, and her daughter Sarita Kumari Hujedar, 18, of Hatisarba VDC-9 on June 11 on charge of inhumanly treating Sumitra Devi Sah, 55, of ward no. 9 of same VDC. Though the victim filed a complaint a week ago, police had not registered the case saying that both sides would be called to gather facts. Sumitra, who had reached at the area to see accused Sarita after news of she being possessed by Shivaji spread, was beaten by the accused duo. They even tried to feed her human excreta on charge of practicing witchcraft.
