A local Mahato family of Sarlahi, who has been operating a hotel at Hanuman Chowk under the Malangwa-Nawalpur road section for a long time, outraged after a dozer under ward chairperson's orders demolished her house on February 20.
Following the incident, a clash took place between the victim and the persons on the ward chairman's side. Mahato's daughter-in-law and ward Chairman Prabhu Rai and other locals were also injured in the clash. They alleged that the ward chairperson along with police beat them and demolished their house alleging that their house was built by encroaching the road at Kabilasi Municipality Ward No.7 of Sarlahi.
