Police have arrested 47-year-old Narayan Prasad Tharu from Guthichaur Rural Municipality-3, Jumla, on February 22, on the charge of sexually abusing a 9-year-old child.

According to the DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle of the District Police Office, Jumla, they have arrested the accused based on the allegation from the victim’s side. The victim’s side had alleged that the accused had abused the victim on February 22, at her own home. Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Karnali Institute of Health Sciences on February 23.
