A person has been beaten to death in Siraha. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Ajit Kumar Yadav of Itahari in Siraha Municipality-18. According to reports, Ajit, who sustained serious injuries after being beaten by a group led by his brother-in-law Muneshwar Yadav died while he was being taken to hospital for treatment.
Alka (Ajit's wife) had gone to Muneshwar's (Alka's brother) house after a quarrel with her husband and Muneshwar had beaten Ajit while he was trying to bring Alka back to his house. According to the locals, Ajit and brother-in-law Muneshwar Yadav were involved in repeated personal disputes on February 26 and 27. Meanwhile, Yadav brought few men and beat Ajit mercilessly.
According to the District Police Office, Siraha, a case of death has been registered, and only after the post-mortem report, they will conduct further investigation.
