58 contract health workers under the specialist service at Karnali State Hospital have not been paid for two months. They have warned to shut down non-emergency services from March 14 unless their demands are fulfilled by March 13.

The agitating health workers handed over a memorandum to the Chief Minister's Office, Ministry of Social Development, and District Administration Office requesting to make arrangements for the payment of salary allowance.
