Siraha/ July 6 Chinku Kumari Tiwari, 19, of Lahan Municipality-10 has lodged a complaint at Area Police Office on July 6 against her husband Dipendra Prasad Tiwari, 22, on charge of beating her. The victim said that she has been physically and mentally tortured by her husband since they were married a year ago. She further said that she was compelled to lodge the police complaint after the frequency of torture increased day by day. Inspector Khagendra Dhamala of Area Police Office said that the incident will be investigated and legal proceedings will be initiated if he was found guilty.
