A group of youngsters armed with homemade weapons attacked the Dharan-15 temporary police post on May 27. Assistant Inspector in charge of the temporary police post-Dharan-15 Suman Dahal and constable Bijay Yadav were injured in the attack.

According to the locals, a young man named Prasan Limbu of Dharan-3 and a young girl had come to the police station to report a threat they had received. Immediately, a group of young people arrived and began attacking them. When the police attempted to save the youths, they were attacked.

Dahal, who was injured, was transferred to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment. The police were called in to look for the youngsters who attacked the police. According to the police, the cause of the incident could not be determined.
