Ilam/July 15 Ramesh Rajbanshi, 18, of Mahabhara VDC-4 has been arrested by the police on charge on July 15 on charge of raping a two and a half years old girl. Rajbanshi, who was dwelling in Barbote VDC–3, was accused of raping the girl on July 13 evening. The girl’s father filed a complaint against him at District Police Office on July 14. The medical checkup of the girl was conducted at District Hospital on July 14. Accused Rajbanshi has been taken to custody after the court extended his detention period by seven days. In another incident, a 14-year-old boy was arrested by the police on July 14 on charge of raping a two and a half years old girl on July 10. The girl’s mother filed the complaint at District Police Office saying that the boy raped the girl when she was sleeping at home. The boy was being held on child-friendly cell at the DPO, Inspector Kabindra Karki said. The girl is seriously injured and has been sent to home after treatment at District Hospital on July 14. Kokil
