The victim's father lodged a complaint against 70-year-old Saguni Mahato, of Golbazar Municipality-6 at the Area Police Office, Golbazar on June 13 on the charge of sexually abusing an 8-year-old and a 9-year-old girl.

According to the complaint, the accused had sexually abused the two victims on June 1 and they failed to lodge the complaint earlier as there was an attempt to settle the incident in the village.

The health examination of the two victims has been conducted at the District Hospital, Siraha on June 13. Inspector Santosh Rai of the Area Police Office Golbazar said that a search was on for the accused as he was absconding.
