Sujita Bhandari, a 23-year-old Rapti Municipality-3 resident who had been missing for ten days, was found on July 4 in the local Brahmasthani communal forest. Sujita has been missing since June 25, when she was on her way to a friend's house around 6 a.m. According to family members, they received a call on the same day warning them that she had been abducted.
After seeing the body, locals who had gone to the forest to pick mushrooms informed the police. The body was discovered in an almost decayed state. According to police, her body was discovered entangled in a bush in the midst of the forest. A white liquid was also discovered in a bottle beside the body, according to police.
