Man arrested on charge of attempted rape in Chitwan

Police arrested Mahendra Sapkota, a 27-year-old resident of Rapti Municipality-7 in Chitwan on the charge of attempting to rape a 17-year-old girl by closing her mouth while she was cutting grass at around 4:30 pm on July 9. Neighbours took control of Sapkota after the girl screamed for help. Later, they called the police and handed over Sapkota to the police.
