Nisha (anonymous), a 19-year-old resident of Rukum, currently living in Kathmandu was repeatedly raped for four days by four persons; three truck drivers and a man from Parsa. Nisha along with her 2-year-old son was waiting for a bus to her home at Kalanki Chowk in Kathmandu on July 11 where driver Sunil Mahato offered her a lift in the truck (Na 5 Kha 2870).

The Narayangarh-Muglin road section was hit by landslides at various places. Taking advantage of the traffic jam, truck driver Mahato raped Nisha inside the cabin of the truck. Sunil kept Nisha with him till Tuesday, July 13. He brought Nisha to Ramnagar in Chitwan at around 1 pm on Tuesday and put her in another truck. From Ramnagar, Nisha boarded another truck (Na 6 Kha 3369). Truck driver Shiva Balak Mahato did not take the vehicle towards Butwal.

On the way to Butwal, Sunil's friend Shiva Balak took Nisha to Birgunj in Parsa. After reaching the forest area of ​​Bara at night before reaching Birgunj, Shiva Balak repeatedly raped Nisha by stopping the truck on the side of the road.

On the morning of July 14, Shiva Balak repeatedly raped Nisha on the Parwanipur road section. Nisha was not even informed where they were going. After reaching Parwanipur at 8 am on July 14, Shiva Balak asked his conductor Indal Chauhan to drive him to the dry port. Conductor Indal, who was allowed to drive from Parwanipur to the dry port, also stopped the truck and raped Nisha. Nisha was also raped by a 40-year-old man named Bhola, a resident of Katibaluwa in Parsa district, who was already riding in the truck.

Police rescued Nisha and arrested truck drivers Sunil Mahato of Birgunj Metropolitan city-21 and 25-year-old Shivabalak Mahato of Pokhariya Metropolitan city-6 of Parsa. The victim filed a complaint of a rape case at District Police Office Parsa against the accused. Police are meanwhile looking for the other two accused 27-year-old Indal Chauhan of Pokhariya-6 and a 40-year-old man who remains on the run.
