July 30, A case of attempted rape has been filed against Yognath Khatiwada, 76, of Shantinagar VDC-9, who is accused of the attempted rape of a 4-year-old girl, on July 28. The accused was caught red-handed by two local women as he was attempting to violate the girl after taking her clothes off in the afternoon of July 27. The girl was playing with her friends near a local temple. When they arrived at the scene, they called other neighbors and then handed him over to Kakarvitta Area Police Office.
