Complaint lodged against group for assault on ward member

CPN (Unified Socialist) Party leader Ram Kumar Mahato, 50, who is a ward member of Dhanauji Rural Municipality-3, filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Dhanusha on September 16 alleging that he was beaten and abused by Ward Chairperson of Dhanauji Rural Municipality Ward-3 Ramdular Mandal, Ramdular's nephew 27-year-old Pradip Mandal and helper of the ward office 30-year-old Ram Pujan Mukhiya.
Mahato stated that Mandal and his men beat and abused him over political rivalry while he was going to attend Area Party Assembly being organized by his party ins Janakpur.
