The District Police Office in Siraha filed a complaint against 40-year-old Ajay Yadav of Aurahi Rural Municipality-1 on September 22 on the charge of attempting to rape a 33-year-old woman.

The accused, according to the victim, attempted to rape her on September 16. She also stated that while attempting to resolve the incident in the village, it was too late to file a complaint; however, she did file a complaint with the District Police Office in Siraha on September 20. The police are looking for the fugitive accused.
