Jhapa, Balika balatkar gareko aroop ma muddha darta. July 31, Anoranjan Ghos, 43, of Bhadrapur Municipality-8 has been arrested by the police on July 30 on charge of raping a 7-year-old girl. A case has been registered against him at the District Court and his remand has been extended for five days. SI Dinesh Adhikari of District Police Office said that the accused raped the girl while she was alone at home on July 27. The victim informed about the incident to her parents after which they lodged a complaint at DPO against the accused. SI Adhikari said that the investigation about the incident is underway. The victim girl underwent a health checkup at Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhadrapur on July 28.
