Chautara,Pahiro le dampatti ko mrityu. CHAUTARA, AUG 08 - A couple died in a landslide at Banskharka VDC in Sindhupalchowk district, Thursday night. The deceased have been identified as Bangel Lama, 39, of Banskharka VDC-3 and his wife Moti Lama, 40, according to Assistant Sub-Inspector at Tipeni Police Post, Upendra Chaulagain. The incident took place when the landslide, occurred above the house following incessant rainfall, buried them. The couple died on the spot in the incident. Chairperson of a local Paralegal Committee, Sita Shrestha, said their two children are safe as they had gone to neighnour's house to watch television and had slept there.
