Kathmandu,balatkaar prayasko aropma giraftaar. KATHMANDU: A man has been nabbed on charge of rape attempt at Umakunda, Gaurighat, KMC-7 on Saturday. Chandan Pariyar (30) from Chapur-7, Rautahat, currently residing in Jorpati of the Capital was held for attempting to rape a 52-year-old woman. The woman would earn her life by begging around Pashupati Temple. Pariyar tried to rape her at around 11 pm yesterday when she was sleeping, police said. He closed her mouth with his hands and attempted rape, added police. Based on the information, a special team deployed by the Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala nabbed him. Police are looking into the case.
