The fire was taken under control with the help of locals. The documents have been destroyed and tables, chairs have incurred damage in the arson, according to Inspector Ganga Bahadur Thapa of area police office of Dandakonak. He further said that an unidentified group entered VDC office at around 9:30 am breaking open the door and set the VDC office ablaze. The investigation on the incident is underway, according to Thapa.
