The injured has been identified as Rajendra Shrestha of Aanbukhaireni-6, who was doing time for murder. According to Prem Pariyar, prison guard, a group of persons had hit Shrestha on the head with an iron rod. “As we knew little about the attack, no serious incident took place,” said Pariyar. Kishor Shrestha’s group had attacked the victim as per Pariyar.
