Youth Association takes out torch rally in Butwal against the government

Butwal: Protesting against the price hike, the CPN-UML-affiliated Youth Association has taken out a torch in Butwal on Friday evening. The youths took out the torch rally chanting slogans such as 'Control the rise in food prices including petroleum products', 'Maintain good governance, end corruption'.

The rally started from the bus park on the East-West Highway. The torch rally turned into a corner meet after reaching Milanchowk. Speaking at the corner meeting, youth leaders said that the government from State to Federal level had failed to work in the interest of the youths and common people. The corner meeting was addressed by Rupandehi Youth Association in-charge Keshav Roka, president Manoj Gauchan, assistant in-charge Bikas Basnet, secretary Krishna Bahadur Kumal, and others.
