Three cadres of CPN (Maoist Center) were injured after being attacked with sharp weapons by CPN-UML's candidate for the post of chairperson of Panchpokhari Thagpaldhap Rural Municipality's Ward 7 Suke Tamang and Devraj Gurung on May 1. The injured are undergoing medical treatment in Kathmandu.
CPN (Maoist) District Chairman Govinda Parajuli issued a press release on May 1, condemning the attack on his cadres by the CPN-UML and demanded strict action against the accused.
