Khotang,Congress ra UML karyakarta bich jhadap,3 jana giraftaar. Khotang/ August 21 Cadres of Nepali Congress and UML have ensued in a clash at Lamidada VDC-4 on August 20. Cadres of UML Devan Rai, 21 and Uttam Rai, 35, were injured in the incident. They were attacked by a group of 15 people, including Fatik Kumar Shrestha, chairperson of Nepali Congress, Khotang and Station in charge of Lamidada airport Ramesh Shrestha. The clash started following a dispute between the two parties. Police arrested Uttam, Nabin and Devan on charge of their involvement in the incident. All the arrestees were taken under control by the policemen deputed for the security of the airport. The victim's family accused police of torturing them in custody. DSP Govinda Bahadur Shahi of District Police Office, Diktel denied torturing the arrestees. He further said that the necessary discussion will be held between the parties.
