Cadres of CPN-UML staged a demonstration in Rangkhola of Syangja obstructing transportation along Siddhartha highway protesting against alleged attack on Nepali Congress ward chairperson candidate for ward 10 of Putalibazar Municipality Gautam Thapa (Bishnu). UML cadres alleged that police released the attacker immediately after arresting him. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded due to the demonstration.
