Cadres of CPN-UML clashed with Nepali Congress cadres in polling center at Ghorthali village of Baahrabise Municipality-1 of Sindhupalchowk. Voting at the Ka polling center at Bhumeshwori Secondary school was halted due to the clash.  Voters and police deployed at the polling center called the administration after tension escalated. According to DSP Dakshya Kumar Basnyat, cadres of the two parties clashed over alleged misconduct in voting. They attacked each other with stones and vandalized furniture at the polling center. A team of police under inspector Mukesh Neupane was deployed to the polling center for security and investigation.
