Rojina Pariyar, 24,has lodged a complaint against her husband Raju Pariyar, 35, of Dhankuta district Phalate VDC-4 and currently Kathmandu Metropolis-16, Dhalku,at Woman and Children Service Center under the Kalimati Metropolitan Police Range on August 31. She accused him of assaulting her. She demanded action against the accused under domestic violence act for beating her on August 30. She further accused her husband depriving her of food and clothes. The victim said that her husband has been inflicting assault on her in inebriated state. She further said that she was compelled to lodge a complaint seeking for justice and action against him.Her husband has been inflicting physical and mental torture on her daily.The couple was married 4 years ago.Their child is currently a 13 month.
