Sahabunnesa Khatun, 19, of Khutwa Jabdi VDC-2 and her 2-year-old daughter Shabnam have been injured when their family members poured boiling water on them on September 5. The accused, Sahabunnesa's mother-in-law Wakila Miyan, 47, and sister-in-law Nurinesa, 17, poured water when her husband tanga driver Ali Akhtar, 25, was at work. She has filed a complaint of the incident at the police station saying she always faced harassment when her husband was not at home. Sahabunnesa and her daughter have burn injuries in head, hand and body. Head Constable Sita Ghimire of Women and Children Service Center, Bara said that they had recommended for their treatment and that arrest warrant had been issued against the accused.
