Police have arrested a person on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl in Jhapa. The arrested has been identified as 32-year-old Ujjwal Khulal of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-1 according to the police. According to police, Khulal raped the victim at a hotel in Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-1 on January 24, 2022. Police are further investigating the incident.
