Tarai Madhesh Lokatantrik Party stages demonstration against President in Janakpur

The Terai Madhes Democratic Party (Tamalopa) has demonstrated against President Bidya Devi Bhandari demanding the certification of the Citizenship Bill on August 28. Tamalopa Dhanusha staged a protest at Janak Chowk in Janakpurdham with the objective of pressing the ratification Citizenship Bill. The cadres of Tamalopa chanted slogans against President Bidya Devi Bhandari, accusing her of being a CPN-UML cadre. The leader of Tamalopa, Viva Thakur also warned of stronger protests.
