Two girls aged 14-year-old  and 17-year-old from Kalimati rural municipality 1 Lakshmipur in Salyan were raped by luring them with false promise of marriage by 19-year-old Chabilal Giri and 20-year-old Meghraj Thapa of Kalimati Rural Municipality 4. 

Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that both the girls were forcefully raped in the forest after being lured with promise of marriage. Chabilal Giri was arrested while searching for the accused and another accused, Meghraj Thapa, is absconding. According to the police, permission has been obtained from the district court to arrest him and they are searching for him.
