Security Guards of Laxmi Bank in Hattisar of Kathmandu have been accused of manhandling five journalists affiliated to Kasthamandap Television. According to reports, The guards manhandled the journalists on Sunday afternoon when they had gone to the bank for inquiry. Issuing press statement, Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) stated that journalist Famous Bhandari and cameraperson Ramesh Singh Bista were assaulted when they were inquiring about advertisment of alcohol and tobacco products by Laxmi Bank without the permission of Kathmandu metropolitan city.
