Bara,Bara jhadap ma 15 ghayite. BARA, SEP 10 - At least 15 people including one police personnel were injured when locals of Pipradhi VDC in Bara district clash ed amongst themselves on Wednesday. Police opened five rounds of blank fire to bring the situation under control. The clash took place over a dispute of an excursion trip of the students of a local higher secondary school, informed the police. Shiva Shanker Pandit, Raj Kumar Giri, Ram Chand Sahani, Salman Hawari, Binod Sahani, Sonu Pandey, Chandan Sahani, among others, have sustained injuries in the clash . The injured are receiving medical attention at Kalaiya Hospital in the district. According to the police, the students of the school had demonstrated demanding the income generated out of a pond in the VDCs be given to the students for the excursion. Later, the students clash ed amongst themselves regarding the matter only worsened by the participation of the locals of the region. Superintendent of Police Ishwor Babu Karki said that the main cause of the clash was the pond. He said that the police had to resort to blank fire to prevent any untoward incident.
