Police on October 16 arrested 18-year-old Darpan Chaudhary of Chaudandi Municipality-9 Jyamire Pachhuwari in on the charge of raping an 8-year-old girl from the same place. Chaudhary had gone on the run after raping the girl allegedly on October 9. Police deployed from Chaudandi Area Police Office Police and local police post arrested him hiding near the office of Ward 9 of the municipality. Police have started further investigating into the incident.
