The police team deployed from District Police Office-Salyan arrested  24-year-old Kaushal Poudel on October 31 accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. The victim's family lodged complaint against Poudel on November 1 stating that, Poudel took the girl forcefully from her house to nearby jungle on October 21 and sexually assaulted her. The incident happed when the accused had gone to Salyan to drop his wife to her parents house.  Kaushal is a permanent resident of ward no. 5 of Birendranagar municipality in Surkhet.
