The accused are Mantun Thakur, 23, Dilip Kumar Sah, 22, Rakesh Singh, 27 and Ansarul Rain, 20. According to the family, the girl was raped when she had gone to the field at around 10 pm on October 8 to answer nature’s call. The family had verbally informed the police within hours of the incident. According to Inspector Hari Khatiwada of Mirchaiya Area Police Office, the girl was taken to District Hospital for medical check-up soon after they were informed of the incident. He added that the accused were absconding and that the police were searching for them. In another case, the family of a 14-year-old girl has filed an FIR against Prabin Mukhiya aka Rajeev, 22, and Jitendra Mukhiya, 19, of Nabarajpur VDC-1 on October 9 accusing them of raping the girl. The family said girl, arriving at her sister home from India was raped as she had gone out of the house on October 7 night to go to the toilet. SP Ram Kripal Sah said that the girl was taken to the District Hospital for checkup on October 8 and that police were searching for the absconding accused. D
