Children Rescued In India Handed Over to Guardians

Rautahat, Bharat ma udhar gareko bachha haru lai pariwar ko jimma ma lagayo. Twenty-one children rescued from different parts of India have been handed over to their guardians on October 31. They were rescued from their places of work by an Indian organization. A raid by Indian police at a bag facorty in Dijeali, Banglore, India had freed 68 children of which 21 were Nepalis. The children were handed over Sanardesh Children’s Home in Mujjafarpur, India which in turned informed the District Child Welfare Committee, Bara and Maiti Nepal, Birgunj. The children were brought to Rautahat with the support of Rautahat’s District Child Welfare Committee, District Police Office, Women and Children Service Centre and other organizations. A program was organized in the premises of the District Police Office, Rautahat where the children were handed over to CDO and Child Welfare Committee chairperson Madan Bhujel by Sanardesh Children’s Home head Satyendra Singh.
