A complaint was lodged against Pramod Kumar Mandal a 25-year-old man of Surunga municipality-3 in Saptari on the charge of raping, abducting, and holding a 19-year-old teen girl hostage. The mother of the victim lodged the complaint on April 5, alleging that the accused took photos and videos of the victim while holding her hostage on  March 12 when she was returning from her friend's home. The victim alleged that the accused raped her multiple times by threatening her and threatening to kill her family. Police are yet to arrest the accused who is on the run.
