Police arrested 9 youths of Mahakal rural municipality in Lalitpur accused of charging Khukuri to three road construction workers. The group attacked Sunil Tharu from Madhuwan municipality-2 in Bardiya, Sujen Lama and Rashem Lama from Konjyosom rural municipality, who lived in tents by the side of the road in Gotikhel , as the road construction work was ongoing at  Mahankal -3 Japka. 

The incident happened around 10 pm on June 5. A group of 9 youth attacked three workers, blaming them for calling the girlfriend of one among those nine local youth. The workers were taken to Anandaban hospital in Lele for initial treatment and later referred to Patan Hospital and TU teaching hospital respectively. They are reported to be out of danger.
